Zuccon International Project wins at the Motor Boat Awards 2016

Zuccon International Project opens the year 2016 triumphantly: Custom Line Navetta 28, designed by the Studio for Ferretti Yachts’ Custom Line brand, wins the tenth edition of the Motor Boats Awards 2016 in the Custom Yacht category.

Thanks to its unique combination of innovative design and excellent performance, the maxi yacht was able to stand out against the runners up, impressing the jury. The judges’ panel included editors of the authoritative magazines Motor Boat&Yachting and YBW.com, as well as experienced boat testers; every model, in fact, was evaluated according to sea trials conducted over the past year. The rewarding ceremony took place in London on January 11th 2016, in conjunction with the annual London Boat Show.

“It certainly is a very important award, both for Custom Line and Zuccon International Project, especially because this year Custom Line celebrates its 20th anniversary” – commented architect Bernardo Zuccon – “Moreover, the presence of 7 valiant competitors increases the value of the result achieved by Navetta 28. What happened in London is even more meaningful considering the Country where the victory took place: the UK – as known – is where the bigger competitors are. I do hope that this victory will be a good omen for the new year”.

Custom Line Navetta 28
Custom Line Navetta 28 has been upgraded from its previous versions, but still maintains the characteristic that has always been a distinctive Custom Line’s trait: the Timeless style. Also, Navetta 28 meets all the ideal criteria for a long-cruise yacht, offering a deepest connection with the exterior spaces. The designers made sure to offer Owner and guests the ultimate cruising experience, ensuring them all the comforts while at the same time always keeping in close contact with the sea. Among other interventions, the windows’ size was readjusted and the balance between interiors and exteriors spaces has been definitively improved, a distinctive element of that projectual research Zuccon International Project carries on with every project.
