From March 3 to 5, 2026, the first Yacht Interior Summit will take place at Meyer Werft in Papenburg.
The superyacht industry meets regularly and enthusiastically at conferences and integrated networking events around the globe. There are numerous conferences on the topic of “superyachts” but an event dedicated exclusively to interiors and spanning several days has not yet existed. This will change from March 3 to 5, 2026, when the world’s first Yacht Interior Summit is held at the Meyer Werft in Papenburg. Three days will be devoted to the most expensive and, for many owners, most important aspect of a yacht — one that is in constant flux due to new materials, requirements, and regulations.
The program includes presentations, workshops, panels, and networking sessions, with a number of high-caliber speakers already confirmed. Jim Dixon, Managing Director of Winch Design, will be attending, as will Klaus Busse, Head of Design at Maserati; designer Christiano Gatto; Axel Hedemann, Head of Interior & Exterior at Abeking & Rasmussen; and Anders Kurten, CEO of Fraser Yachts.
On the first day of the summit, topics include “The definition of new luxury,” “Design from the charter point of view,” and “Lighting in superyachts.” The second day’s agenda features sessions such as “Rules, regulations and compliance aspects,” “Driving innovation for a new client mindset,” and “Tackling the challenges”.
The third day of the Yacht Interior Summit premiere will be entirely dedicated to Meyer Werft, which will open its doors for an exclusive tour. In addition to visiting the Visitor Center, summit participants will gain insights into Meyer Werft’s production facilities and into projects that are at the technological cutting edge of shipbuilding. Members of the shipyard’s senior management, including Chief Sales Officer Thomas Weigend, will accompany the day.
Participation in the (English-language) Yacht Interior Summit 2026 costs €2,995. This year’s partners include Home & Marine Electronic Systems and Europlan Yacht Interiors. The event is organized by Berlin-based RedCabin GmbH, which has built an excellent reputation worldwide for first-class interior design conferences in the aviation, rail, and automotive industries.
