The Pardo 43 R debuted in Miami, merging Italian craftsmanship with outboard power to deliver high-performance luxury to the American market.
The Miami International Boat Show 2026 served as the global stage for the official debut of the Pardo 43 R, a significant evolution within the Pardo Yachts walkaround range. Originating from the Cantiere del Pardo shipyard in Romagna, Italy, the new model has been specifically engineered to meet the demands of the American market, combining Mediterranean aesthetics with high-performance outboard propulsion. This strategic move to Miami for its world premiere highlights the vessel’s alignment with dynamic coastal environments and the technical requirements of modern powerboating.
Engineering for high performance and maneuverability
The defining technical characteristic of the Pardo 43 R is its transition to outboard power, featuring a hull specifically optimized for this configuration. The standard propulsion package consists of triple Mercury Verado 400hp V10 engines, while an optional upgrade to triple 600hp V12 units is available for increased performance. With the maximum engine configuration, the vessel is capable of reaching speeds exceeding 50 knots. This mechanical setup is paired with a fuel capacity of 2,500 liters, providing the necessary range for both high-speed transit and extended offshore excursions.
Design architecture and structural innovations
Structural integrity and aerodynamic efficiency are central to the 43 R design philosophy. A notable feature is the redesigned T-Top, constructed from carbon fiber to maintain a low center of gravity while offering a surface area 30% larger than previous iterations. The T-Top integrates seamlessly with a high-profile windshield, providing enhanced protection for the helm station and cockpit. The deck layout maintains the signature Pardo walkaround architecture, ensuring a flush surface from bow to stern that facilitates safe and unobstructed movement throughout the vessel.
Interior layout and aesthetic integration
While the exterior focuses on sporting capabilities, the interior reflects a collaborative design effort with Nauta Design to maintain a luxury standard. The lower deck provides accommodations for up to four guests, featuring a master cabin with a permanent double bed or an optional dinette configuration. Large hull windows are utilized to maximize natural light within the living spaces. Every ergonomic detail, from the helm station to the social areas, has been engineered to balance the adrenaline of a racing-inspired vessel with the contemporary style synonymous with the Italian shipyard.
