World Premiere: NOA 46m Unveiled in Cannes

An exciting yacht is celebrating its world premiere at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival from 9 to 14 September: The NOA 46 will be displayed in Vieux Port after being delivered in Yalova/Turkey by the relatively new shipyard The Yacht Factory.

Ocean Independence has been nominated as the Central Agent for this extraordinary vessel which will begin to turn heads very soon. Jeremy Comport, Director and Sales Consultant at Ocean Independence, comments: “The NOA 46 has a very modern design approach that will appeal to many customers. I am pretty sure this premiere marks the start of a new success story in Turkish yacht building.“

Designed by Hot Lab Yacht Design, the 46 metre yacht combines long-range cruising with highly functional exterior and interior layouts. She has accomodation for ten guests in five elegant staterooms and a main salon which is directly connected to the al fresco lounge area featuring a large jacuzzi. Another exterior highlight is the sun deck equipped with a DJ booth, a huge bar and a gym area.

Inside, the NOA 46 has a very elegant and contemporary styling that combines predominantly brown and beige colours. Each room exudes an inviting and exclusive atmosphere, while generous glazing floods the interior with plenty of daylight.

The vessel is constructed with a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and is fully compliant with RINA and MCA classifications. She offers a transoceanic range of 4,000nm at 10 knots, powered by twin MAN 1,450HP engines, meeting IMO Tier III standards. Cruising speed is 13 knots, with a top speed anticipated at 15.7 knots. ABT TRAC fin stabilisers are installed for comfort both underway and at anchor, the NOA 46 is also fully equipped with Simrad navigation equipment.

The Yacht Factory is one of the latest additions to Turkey’s growing shipyard portfolio. As part of the Atasay Group the shipyard has strong financial backup. Cihan Kamer, Chairman of the Atasay Group explains:

Situated on a 200,000 m2 area, the facility is equipped with a travel lift with a lifting capacity of 800 tons and advanced equipment capable of servicing superyachts and megayachts, making it one of the largest and most well-equipped facilities in the maritime industry. With floating dock for superyachts and megayachts, the shipyard caters to the needs of yachts of all sizes and capacities.
