Two other essential pillars are required to complete the concept new VQ65, namely superyacht standards of comfort on board and an unrivalled performance. This makes the proposition for the VQ65 our most ambitious concept to date.
The bar is high, and we are aware that the development of an entirely new underwater section demands a guaranteed combination of safety and comfort. Moreover, the weight of the yacht is crucial, while the three large engines take up the space that would otherwise be used for cabins beneath the cockpit floor.
The design will be developed by Guido de Groot, who has already proven his ability to blend a distinctly Vanquish look. Naval architecture for this exciting project will be in the hands of Studio Delta and Partners, a company renowned for its work with specialists in the sector. There will be space for up to 23 people on deck, an option for luxury accommodation including a comfortable shower and head for two, a galley that will make life on board a highly enjoyable experience, and a crew cabin with a separate head and shower. And because the Vanquish VQ65 Veloce– like all Vanquish boats – will be fully custom built, it can be adapted to the needs of the most demanding individuals.
The propulsion system of the VQ65 Veloce is state-of-the-art, with three MAN V12 engines of 1900 hp each plus surface piercing drives to achieve the exceptionally high top speed. The engineering in the engine room will be realised in partnership with the best engineers from the luxury yacht building sector.
