United by a shared spirit of innovation and creative freedom, they have joined forces to give birth to the UR-FREAK, a radical fusion of Ulysse Nardin’s rotating movement concept and URWERK’s satellite hour display, co-engineered into a single, fully integrated in-house caliber.
Produced in a strictly limited series of 100 pieces, the UR-FREAK embodies the shared spirit of independence, innovation, and creative audacity that has driven both Manufactures to the forefront of contemporary watchmaking.
Mechanics define the design: a three-hour rotating carousel with wandering satellite hours, powered by Ulysse Nardin’s advanced Grinder® automatic system, DIAMonSil® escapement, and silicon oscillator — technologies the Maison pioneered more than two decades ago.
Born from over 150 newly developed components, the UR-FREAK is not a reinterpretation but a reinvention: a true mechanical dialogue between two avant-garde watchmakers who continue to shape the future of time.
