Overmarine Group sells a third Mangusta Oceano 52, highlighting market demand for its expansive volumes, innovative design, and bespoke luxury features.
In the wake of the first two Mangusta Oceano 52 units sold just a few months ago, Overmarine Group is now announcing the sale of the third unit in the line, underscoring the market’s appreciation for a project that has set itself apart for its vision, consistency, and unique personality. Offering the generous volumes, flexibility, and onboard liveability of far larger yachts, the flagship of the brand’s line of steel and aluminium displacement vessels has rapidly become a recognised benchmark in the segment below 500 GT.
Created by the synergy between Overmarine’s Engineering Department and designer Alberto Mancini, the Mangusta Oceano 52 builds on the legacy of the entire Mangusta Oceano line, further expanding its design boundaries and freeing up its expressive potential by reinterpreting its core principles in an even more visionary key. With her 52 metres in length, this model redefines the relationship between physical space and its perception, exceeding set standards in her class.
Design philosophy and broker collaboration
Her slender lines, the constant dialogue with the sea, and the smooth, free-flowing continuum between interiors and exteriors convey the feeling of being on a much larger yacht. Here, the concept of ‘in & out living’ is not just an optional extra, but an integral part of the vessel’s architecture. From this vision stems the concept of ‘A Deck Above the Rest’, which epitomizes Mangusta’s approach to a project meant to exceed traditional expectations in this segment. The cruising experience is thus elevated to a harmonious unity of design, functionality, and pure emotion, offering the Owner a new manner of enjoying space, comfort, and life at sea.
The sale of this third unit was secured in cooperation with broker Quentin Bourdeau of brokerage house Pelagia Yachting, based in Port Canto, Cannes, who outlines the project’s core strengths as follows: «The Mangusta Oceano 52 captivated the Owner with the soundness and overall consistency of the project behind it, where design, engineering, and long-range cruising co-exist in perfect harmony. This sale was the result of excellent cooperation with the Overmarine team, whose professionalism ensured a smooth and particularly pleasant process».
Client appeal and customized features
Mangusta Sales Manager Ivan Adzic adds: «The sale of three Mangusta Oceano 52 units in rapid succession attests to the incredible appeal of an innovative project capable of going beyond the traditional boundaries of the segment below 500 GT. This is a yacht that offers Owners lifestyle, volumes, and contents normally found on much larger vessels. This unit was purchased by European owners that were already Mangusta clients, and this makes us particularly proud. Their first experience with a smaller yacht from our range persuaded them to remain part of the Mangusta family».
On this unit too, flexibility remains one of the core assets of the project and allowed the Owner to opt for a different, customised layout on each deck: the Main Deck will host two guest cabins at the bow, while the master stateroom will have a fully-custom configuration, becoming a true private area floating over the sea, where floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces offer an 180° panoramic view and open onto a private terrace with a ‘Mangusta Signature’ infinity pool. Three guest cabins will be found on the Lower Deck, including a full-beam VIP cabin designed to ensure the same comfort and privacy as the ones on the Main Deck – a solution which captures at best the modular potential of the Mangusta Oceano 52 and the brand’s bespoke approach, whereby every single unit is shaped as a one-off creation, built around the needs and lifestyle of the Owner-to be.
This third unit is scheduled to be delivered at the end of 2028. The yacht will be cruising the Mediterranean Sea as a private vessel, becoming yet another ambassador of Mangusta’s commitment to turning every Owner’s dreams into a tailor-made experience which reflects their identity, habits, and unique manner of living the sea.
