Sunseeker reflects on a magnificent performance during the 2022 autumn boat show season.
Represented across the Mediterranean by its world-class distributor, Sunseeker London Group, there were over 25 yachts on display across the continent, a world premiere of the striking 100 Yacht, and a magnificent reveal of three new concept models.
The 100 Yacht won ‘Best Exterior Design’ at the World Yachts Trophies in Cannes, an extraordinary achievement on its very first outing, and the Predator 65 experienced its European debut. The brand saw exceptional buyer interest with delivery slots filled until 2024 for some models.
The Sunseeker Ocean range gained three all-new models from 24m to 42m. The Ocean 156 and the Ocean 182, defined by interior volume, usable space, and stunning contemporary proportions, will completely disrupt the mid-range yacht market. In an illustrious reveal at Monaco Yacht Show, Sunseeker released the concept details of yet another Ocean model, a stunning new superyacht, the Ocean 460. The all-new 42 metre tri-deck superyacht boasts expansive interior and exterior volume and dedicated social areas on each external deck including a two-level aft Beach Club area.
With plans to strengthen the distributor network, Sunseeker announced a new partnership with Bush & Noble founders, introducing Sunseeker Gulf as the official distributor in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This exciting new appointment will allow Sunseeker to develop its 20-year presence in the region, offering unrivalled customer service and expertise to the market.
Sean Robertson, Sales and Marketing Director at Sunseeker International, commented: “It has been an exceptional boat show season for Sunseeker. It was fantastic to see boat shows return to their former strength in visitor numbers and a continued enthusiasm for our brand. As the pre-eminent boat show in the region, Cannes Yachting Festival delivered a flurry of new buyers and a reinvigorated interest in yachting in the Mediterranean. The Sunseeker stand maintained a steady flow of visitors until after closing, every day. With limited overlap between the other boat shows in Southampton, Genoa and Monaco, our talented sales and service teams were able to share a remarkable showcase of new yachts and reveal the very latest concepts which will soon enter production. Now, we look forward to welcoming our clients, friends, international dealers, and the world’s press to Fort Lauderdale later this month followed closely by the exceptional Düsseldorf Boat Show, where we will launch the all-new, highly anticipated Superhawk 55.”
Chris Head, Sales Director at Sunseeker London Group, added: “We were delighted to display the world’s finest yachts in the industry at our renowned and highly anticipated European boat shows. Our sales teams from across our territories were thrilled to welcome new prospects and familiar faces to the ever-growing Sunseeker family.”
