Sunseeker international to unveil new Predator 68 MK II at Cannes yachting festival

Sunseeker International is delighted to be launching the new Predator 68 MK II, which includes a re-styled interior and modified exterior lines, at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.

The redesigned Predator 68 MK II holds no compromise and is built with sport yacht lovers’ desires and needs in mind. Central to its appeal, the cleverly engineered cockpit door mechanism allows it to open conventionally, but also lower itself into the sole of the yacht. Depending on the owner’s wishes, the Predator 68 MK II can be transformed into an ‘open’ yacht in warmer regions or a ‘closed’ yacht in cooler climates. This discreet patio door allows those onboard to take advantage of uninterrupted views; creating a seamless inside/outside entertaining area from the forward helm right through to the bathing platform.

Accommodating up to six guests in a three cabin arrangement, this is a craft with unlimited entertaining and relaxation opportunities. Embodying all that is chic about its predecessor, the new Predator 68 MK II features a full width sliding sunroof that also helps to bring the outside in.

The exquisite design of the Predator 68 MK II draws on the finest attributes of the Sunseeker range with impressive attention to detail and an abundance of natural light thanks to its intelligent window design that floods each cabin and living space. The generous saloon includes a sumptuous U-shaped seating area, bar and social seating area at the stern, whilst the exterior features a superb sunbed on the foredeck for soaking up the sun.

Below deck from the saloon, there are three spacious en-suite cabins, comprising of an aft Master, starboard Twin and forward VIP, all equipped with individually controllable audio/video entertainment systems, demonstrating the attention Sunseeker has given to creating exceptional living spaces for its customers.

Behind the 68 MK II transom, directly below the vast sun pad, the tender garage provides the space to house a tender or jet ski with a hydraulic lifting platform to make launching effortless.

Piercing through the waves, this yacht is powered by MAN V8 1,200 horsepower engines to comfortably cruise at 24 knots with a cruising range of 300 nautical miles. Alternatively, with the newly offered MAN V12 1,550 engines, available with Shaft or Arneson Surface Drives, owners can reach incredible speeds of up to 43 knots; a true Sunseeker in every sense! Offering limitless options from top-end sports performance through to long distance cruising, this is a yacht developed to impress whether at speed or at rest.

Drawing on inspiration from Sunseeker’s fastest ever selling model, the Predator 57, the sleek exterior lines boasts the latest in exterior glazing and incorporates unparalleled amounts of curved glass to emphasise its dramatic lines.
Sean Robertson, Sales Director at Sunseeker International, said: “Cannes Yachting Festival is a great show to be unveiling the new Predator 68 MK II. This yacht has been designed for customers who demand the very best performance, matched with incredible living spaces, wrapped in the most stylish of exteriors. We really look forward to introducing this new design to our visitors at the show. The hard work and investment that has gone into this exceptional yacht showcases Sunseeker’s commitment to improving our current range and continues to push the boundaries of engineering, technologies and innovation.”
