Skradin:Gateway to Adriatic Dreams

Explore the Heart of the Adriatic

Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a curious traveler, Skradin invites you to slow down, soak in its charm, and set sail for some of the Adriatic’s most unforgettable destinations.Tucked away where the emerald Krka River meets the blue embrace of the Adriatic, Skradin is more than a picturesque Croatian town – it’s the perfect launchpad for a sailing adventure that blends untouched nature, authentic flavors, and timeless Dalmatian culture. The town is built on the shore of a deep natural bay, home to the renowned ACI Marina Skradin, which offers 180 berths and is famous for its attentive staff and the graceful swans that glide among the yachts. Its tranquil atmosphere and authentic charm make it the perfect starting point for exploring the Dalmatian coast. Krka redirects here. For the smaller river on the border with Bosnia, see Krka .
Before starting your sailing adventure from Skradin, make sure to visit the stunning Krka National Park – an experience you truly won’t want to miss! Located just next to the picturesque town, this park is a marvel of nature and a must-visit stop, offering scenic walking trails, spectacular waterfalls, and crystal-clear rivers – a breathtaking blend of natural beauty and relaxation. While sailing is not permitted inside the park due to the low Skradin bridge, you can join a boat tour or explore the park by land. Marvel at the lush greenery, spectacular waterfalls, and turquoise rivers, and be sure to visit Skradinski Buk, a group of 17 breathtaking waterfalls-one of the most beautiful sights in all of Croatia.
Shortly after untying your mooring lines in Skradin, as you sail through the scenic St. Anthony’s Channel, you’ll come across the local oyster farms, a hidden treasure of the region. These traditional farms produce some of the Adriatic’s finest oysters and mussels, making this the perfect spot to savor authentic Dalmatian flavors and gain a glimpse into the area’s rich maritime heritage.
