Rolex Testimonee Scott Brash Wins His Third CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex

Rolex Testimonee Scott Brash claimed his fifth Rolex Grand Slam Major victory this time aboard Hello Jefferson, winning the 2025 CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex, ahead of American rider Kyle King in second and Rolex Testimonee Steve Guerdat of Switzerland in third.

Facing the world’s most elite show jumpers, the British pair displayed outstanding athleticism, endurance, and courage on the 10-year anniversary of Brash’s Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping win in 2015.

2025 marks the 50th anniversary since the official opening of the world-renowned Spruce Meadows equestrian complex, which staged the inaugural CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament the following year. Rolex has supported the show as its Main Sponsor since 1989, a partnership that reflects the brand’s celebration of human achievement, recognizing the journey marked by milestones and emotions that culminate in defining moments.

Regarded as one of the sport’s toughest challenges, the CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex takes place on Spruce Meadows’ imposing turf arena and features some of the most iconic fences in the sport – with poles often exceeding 4.5m in length.

The unique class, crafted by the renowned course designer Leopoldo Palacios, demands the greatest level of mastery and horsemanship, two qualities displayed continuously by Brash throughout the competition.

Out of 36 starters, the top 12 progressed to the second round, including five Rolex Testimonees; four of whom are previous victors of the title, namely, Martin Fuchs (2023, 2024), Daniel Deusser (2022), Steve Guerdat (2021) and Scott Brash (2015, 2016), along with Rolex’s newest equestrian Testimonee, Sophie Hinners.

After a challenging second round course, only two riders tied at the top on four faults, resulting in a jump-off. Brash was first to tackle the shortened final course, and with precision and speed produced a faultless clear round. King followed and was ahead on time but incurred four faults at the Canadian planks securing Brash’s third CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex victory.

The equestrian spotlight now turns to the CHI Geneva in December – the fourth Rolex Grand Slam Major of the calendar year. Brash will head to the CHI Geneva as the live contender in his quest for the sport’s ultimate prize – the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.

This distinguished honour is awarded to any rider who secures consecutive Grand Prix victories at three of the four Rolex Grand Slam Majors: The Dutch Masters, the CHIO Aachen, the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament, and the CHI Geneva.
