The 32nd edition of the International Sailing Race Brindizi – Corfu, which was organized by the Circolo de la Vela Brindisi and the Gouvia Marina Sailing Club, has already passed in the history of this very important sporting event.
All of the 119 boats that participated, begun the race from Brindisi on the 7th of June and crossed the finish line at Kassiopi in Northern Corfu, the following day. Sailors from Italy, Greece, Serbia, Russia, Netherlands, England and the United States joined up in Gouvia Marina, Corfu, where all these boats were hosted for the Prize Giving Ceremony which was then followed by a spectacular party
The growth of this event during the 32 years of its existence has been based on the cooperation and friendship of sailors from Brindisi and Corfu and has become a tradition for the area and the sailing community. For the future of the Regatta, is to see more Greek boats participating, from all over Greece as well as more participants from all the other countries of the Adriatic.
