Project Evita reaches a significant construction milestone as hull and superstructure are joined

Project Evita’s hull and superstructure are joined, marking a milestone as the 57-metre superyacht moves into outfitting.

Heesen Yachts has celebrated a significant step in the construction of Project Evita, a 56.7-metre motor yacht, as the hull and superstructure have been successfully joined. This milestone marks the transition to the outfitting phase, bringing the largest yacht ever built on speculation by the Dutch shipyard closer to her anticipated delivery in the third quarter of 2027.

Project Evita stands out for her impressive combination of size, performance, and versatility. Measuring 57 metres with an internal volume of 780 GT and a shallow draught of just 2.3 metres, she is the largest yacht capable of reaching destinations such as the Bahamas, where access is often restricted to smaller or shallower vessels. Her all-aluminium Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) allows her to achieve a top speed of 21 knots, while maintaining a transatlantic range of 3,900 nautical miles at 13 knots, making her ideal for long-distance cruising.

The interior is designed to offer both luxury and adaptability. The main-deck forward owner’s stateroom spans an impressive 60 square metres, offering unparalleled privacy, while five additional guest cabins accommodate ten more guests. Nearly 400 square metres of interior space in total provide a perfect balance between communal areas and private retreats. A central glass elevator connecting three decks enhances accessibility and comfort for all passengers, making Project Evita particularly suited to multi-generational families.

The yacht’s exterior, designed by Omega Architects, is defined by a distinctive scallop-shaped transom and a reimagined aft deck. Here, a six-square-metre infinity pool replaces the traditional beach club, creating a direct connection with the water. Expansive decks offer a variety of zones, including aft sun loungers, a central dining and bar area beneath the hardtop, and a forward lounge, providing versatile spaces for relaxation and socialising.

Harrison Eidsgaard has crafted the interior layout, while Heesen Yachts Interiors, the shipyard’s in-house workshop, has realised the design, combining traditional Dutch cabinetry with modern technology to produce furniture and finishes of the highest standard.

Fully compliant with IMO Tier III emissions standards, Project Evita can access the world’s premier cruising grounds while maintaining lower environmental impact. By merging lightweight aluminium construction with generous interior volumes, she represents a unique offering in the 50-metre-plus market. Following this structural milestone, Heesen Yachts will focus on the installation of technical systems and bespoke interior outfitting, ensuring a fully personalised and luxurious superyacht experience.
