After the great success of the Pardo 43 and 50, Pardo Yachts is delighted to announce the launch of the new Pardo 38.
This new model, with more than 15 hulls already sold, completes the walkaround range of Pardo Yachts. The new Pardo 38 previewed during the Cantiere del Pardo Week in Portopiccolo (11-19 May 2019) and will make its official debut to the public during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2019. Once again, Cantiere del Pardo keeps its promises: starting from 2017 a new Pardo Yacht model has been launched every year. The Pardo 43 in 2017, the Pardo 50 in 2018 and the new Pardo 38 in 2019. This new boat is a synonym for power, elegance, quality, and comfort, with endless customization possibilities.
Like her successors Pardo 43 and 50, the Pardo 38 has been designed by Zuccheri Yacht Design in collaboration with the Technical Department of Cantiere del Pardo. The 38 has been created for a sophisticated owner looking for features like quality, design, luxury, and comfort combined with high performance and speed. The new hull by Cantiere del Pardo will be available with sterndrive as well as outboard propulsion system with a maximum power of 1050 hp that will allow this
powerful walk-around yacht to reach speeds up to 50kts.
HULL
The new Pardo 38 is the best choice between performance and comfort thanks to its vinyl-ester vacuum infused variable-geometry deep V-hull that allows for excellent seaworthiness, optimum structural rigidity, and great manoeuvrability.
DECK
The walkaround deck plan takes inspiration from the 43 and 50; ensuring safety, easy movement and well-being on board. The unique one-level deck layout from bow to stern is entirely protected by raised sides providing both comfort and safety. The standard deck comes in natural teak and can optionally be replaced by synthetic teak. The exterior upholstery can also be customized. Like Pardo Yachts model, great attention to detail and quality of materials is present. The T-Top is built in pre-preg carbon technology covering the wheelhouse area (characterized by a table with six comfortable seats) with an optional electrical bimini that can cover the dining/lounging area at the stern.
The lounging areas are located both at the bow with a large and comfortable sunbathing area for three people, and at the stern with two settees and a foldable table allowing the space for six. The dining area at the cockpit is characterized by the iconic outdoor galley that can be personalized to the owner’s taste. An important feature is the ergonomics of the console area enriched by carbon inserts and a windshield that guarantees a perfect view in navigation.
The boat is also equipped with an optional easy anchoring system supported by a camera that is directly connected to the chart-plotter located at the helm station.
For the romantic evenings, a special atmosphere lighting is exposed throughout the cockpit.
ENGINE
One of the most important features of the new Pardo 38 is the ability to offer two different propulsion systems. These can be either sterndrive or outboard offering maximum power of 1050 hp and a generous selection of seven different engine combinations.
The standard boat comes with twin Volvo Penta 280hp gasoline sterndrives. Optionally, the Pardo 38 could include a 2x Volvo Penta D4 diesel engines with 300hp or Volvo Penta D6s with 380 or 440hp.
For the outboard engine solution, Pardo 38 has partnered with Mercury and is offering a solution with twin or triple outboards powered by the new 300 or 350hp Mercury outboard gasoline engines. Both sterndrive and outboard engine propulsion systems offer joystick controls enabling great manoeuvrability and performance as well as comfort and easy-handling.
INTERIORS
The interior can be configurated with two different layouts: the standard layout includes one cabin with a double bed and a separate shower/head area. As another option, the Pardo 38 offers a second cabin with two single beds. Its bright and spacious interior volume, generous heights and excellent natural ventilation, allows the Pardo 38 to reach the perfect space distribution for a 38-footer. The great attention to detail and quality makes this boat true excellence of the Made in Italy.
