Last year’s belief that the OYS would become an institution capable of strengthening the yachting industry and highlighting quality tourism, came true this year based on the testimonies of public officials and important industry players and exhibitors who welcomed the success of the second event, placing the Olympic Yacht Show on the list of the top yachting events in Europe.

The quality expectations that were created by last year’s 1st ever Olympic Yacht Show were indeed high. No matter how hard it was, this year’s event managed to exceed our expectations, attracting thousands of visitors and yachting fans in one of the best organized marinas in the Mediterranean. We are more than happy and proud for its success, which indicates the importance and dynamic yachting can and must have in the struggle for efficient and sustainable maritime tourism development. Bearing strong in our minds and hearts that this is a common cause that calls for a unified and well-planned approach, the Greek government places its trust and invests in the added value that professional, high-quality events such as the Olympic Yacht Show can offer for the sector’s growth. An event on the sea that resembles an international Yachting Event, raising the bar of Greek expectations! The efforts of the organizers are superhuman, as the conditions and the premises are not 100% favourable for exhibitors showcasing their models on the water.
