Numarine 40MXP will make its world debut at Palm Beach International Boat Show 2026

Numarine debuts the 40MXP superyacht MITAN at Palm Beach 2026, evolving the XP Series into a Mediterranean-focused, family-oriented explorer yacht.

Numarine, the renowned builder of efficient explorer yachts, will bring the new 40MXP superyacht MITAN to the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2026 (March 25-29, 2026) for the model’s world debut. As the 40-metre flagship of the shipyard’s highly successful XP Series, the superyacht represents the latest evolution of Numarine’s Mediterranean-focused explorer concept.

MITAN is the second unit built on the 40MXP platform and is a standout example tailored for a family-oriented owner who prioritises time together on board and active use of exterior spaces.

Designed with the Mediterranean lifestyle in mind, ‘MXP’ stands for ‘Mediterranean Explorer’, reflecting a strong emphasis on social, open-air living. Developed as a natural evolution of the 37XP, the 40MXP responds to owner demand for a yacht that preserves the robust, ocean-going explorer DNA of the XP line, while placing even greater focus on lifestyle versatility and outdoor enjoyment.

The 40MXP features naval architecture by Umberto Tagliavini and exterior styling by Can Yalman. The brief was straightforward: retain the XP series’ ocean-going capability, and give the deck spaces the kind of treatment you’d expect from a dedicated summer yacht.

Accommodation is offered for up to 12 guests across six staterooms, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck, alongside two additional customisable cabin spaces. An optimised hull form gives the 40MXP a 6,000 nautical mile range at 8 knots. Standard propulsion is provided by twin MAN 800hp engines, with the option to upgrade to a compliant twin MAN 900hp configuration. In addition, the model features noise and vibration reduction developed in collaboration with Silent Line to ensure exceptional onboard comfort during long passages.
