A year on from joining the Sanlorenzo Group, Nautor Swan unveils an accelerated product vision, an expanded global footprint, and a connected owner community — headlined by the world premiere of the Swan 51 and a preview of the Swan 73 at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
A custodian of excellence
“Swan’s most exciting era is now ahead, the icon of performance sailing, elevated for the next generation” said Massimo Perotti, Chairman and CEO of Sanlorenzo.
“We are proud to be the custodians of a remarkable legacy, preserving the heritage, craftsmanship, and spirit that define Swan. Swan’s future is now enhanced through unprecedented investment and a focused product development strategy. Most importantly, we are strengthening our unrivalled global community of passionate sailors and connoisseurs, more connected and vibrant than ever before.”
Since last year’s acquisition, Sanlorenzo has committed €35 million in investments between 2024 and 2027, focused on product development, facilities, and enhancing the customer experience. These include new production sites in Brescia and Viareggio, a new headquarters in Milan, new regional offices in Monaco, Cannes, the USA, and Palma de Mallorca.
“The energy and resources of the past year have transformed our horizons” added Giovanni Pomati, CEO of Nautor Swan.
“We are moving forward with great speed, strengthening Swan’s product portfolio and securing our heritage while preparing the brand for strong international growth. Most of all, we are reinforcing the sense of belonging that unites our community of owners, sailors and enthusiasts around the world.”
World premiere — Swan 51
Making its global debut in Cannes, the new Swan 51 is a contemporary interpretation of one of the brand’s most iconic models. As the smallest yacht in the performance-cruiser line, it draws on the experience of more than 70 yachts between 48 and 55 feet built in the past six years and tested over thousands of miles, ocean crossings and regattas.
With improved balance from the refined positioning of mast, keel and centre of buoyancy, the Swan 51 delivers superior handling and responsiveness. Precise sail trim and helm control give a dinghy-like sensation, redefining performance cruising at this size. A direct heir to the landmark 1981 Swan 51 — the first collaboration with designer German Frers — this new model carries a legend forward for the next generation.
First look — Swan 73
The Cannes Yachting Festival also sees an exclusive preview of Swan 73, designed by German Frers. A modern expression of Swan’s timeless DNA, it combines a powerful performance platform with understated luxury. The yacht’s refined layout and styling bring quiet elegance to life under sail, marking the brand’s return to the 70-foot segment for the first time in more than two decades. The Swan 73 represents a milestone in the brand’s evolution, offering a new dimension of lifestyle and performance for discerning owners.
Expanding horizons — U.S. and global growth
Nautor Swan has reaffirmed its commitment to the United States, identifying a potential site for new operations in Pensacola, home of American Magic, and reinforcing its presence at the heart of high-performance sailing. A dedicated ClubSwan 28 racing calendar is confirmed for Newport and Pensacola in 2026, deepening engagement with the North American sailing scene and expanding the ClubSwan community across the Atlantic.
Globally, Nautor Swan is leveraging the Sanlorenzo Group’s international network to strengthen direct distribution across five continents. New sales points are being established in key yachting hubs, including Newport (in partnership with Edmiston), Fort Lauderdale (via Sanlorenzo of the Americas), the Mediterranean (through Sanlorenzo Med), and Asia-Pacific (with Simpson Marine). Backed by a dedicated and expert salesforce, this expansion ensures a consistent, client-focused experience worldwide.
A connected community: racing, cruising and culture
At the heart of Nautor Swan lies a community spirit that extends far beyond yacht ownership. Through Nautor Swan Brokerage, Global Service, Charter and the inclusive ClubSwan network, the brand supports sailors at every stage of their journey — from their first charter, through to commissioning, cruising, maintenance and competitive sailing.
ClubSwan unites owners and crews worldwide through a dynamic calendar of one-design and rating regattas, cruising rendezvous and lifestyle gatherings.
Now, strengthened by Sanlorenzo’s vision and resources, this ecosystem is expanding to engage a broader audience. From competitive sailing to curated cultural initiatives, Nautor Swan is deepening its role as a global platform for those who share a passion for the sea.
With a strengthened portfolio, bold new launches and an expanding global community, Nautor Swan enters its most exciting era yet — shaping the future of sailing while honouring a timeless legacy.
