The 2025 Monaco Yacht Show offered a unique immersive experience, showcasing the complete superyacht ecosystem: from superyachts to tenders, from sustainable innovations to thematic exhibition areas, alongside strategic discussions bringing together industry leaders and their clients.
The event once again confirmed its position as the essential platform for discovering the trends and future outlook of the luxury yachting sector.
The visitor experience at the heart of the show
The 2025 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show placed the visitor experience at the very heart of the event. On Wednesday, the exclusive opening day reserved for invited guests, attendees were able to explore the exhibition areas, while the Dockside Area remained accessible only to private clients, offering them a privileged journey along the quays of Port Hercule to discover superyachts and tenders in all their splendour. Throughout their visit, participants met shipyards, designers, naval architects, brokers and specialist suppliers, and immersed themselves in the latest innovations, technologies and sustainable solutions that are transforming and shaping the future of the superyacht industry.
Blue Wake™ – Monaco Yacht Show 2025: a new era for sustainable yachting
This year’s show marked a major milestone with the launch of Blue Wake, a programme dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the yachting industry. Throughout the show, visitors discovered a curated selection of 59 exhibitors, vetted in collaboration with the Water Revolution Foundation for their eco-responsible solutions – from hydrogen propulsion systems and alternative fuels to recyclable materials and circular construction practices. Blue Wake provided a clear reference point for identifying companies committed to sustainability, allowing visitors to envisage how these solutions might be integrated into their own yacht projects. It illustrated the sector’s crucial transition towards sustainable yachting – a shift in which the industry has been actively investing for several years.
The highlight of this first edition was the Blue Wake Awards, presented at the Grand Opening Night of the MYS. The awards recognised outstanding initiatives across five categories: TYKUN for hydrogen propulsion, Tai Ping for biodegradable carpets, Deasyl for its low-carbon fuel, Sanlorenzo for its fuel-cell-powered yacht, and SilverYachts for its recyclable aluminium catamaran. In partnership with the Water Revolution Foundation, Blue Wake is already establishing itself as a benchmark initiative, further cementing the Monaco Yacht Show’s role as the global showcase for responsible yachting.
Monaco Yacht Summit: a strategic forum for yachting
The Monaco Yacht Summit brought together designers, technical experts, exhibitors and private clients to address the industry’s key issues: technological innovation, environmental transition and investment strategies around yacht ownership.
Launched by the show’s opening conference on Wednesday morning, the programme featured 8 round tables co-hosted with Superyacht Times, the exclusive “Becoming an Owner” session with Spear’s Magazine, and 20 expert talks led by designers and Blue Wake™ exhibitors. The day concluded with a screening of Ocean with David Attenborough , attended by director Toby Nowlan.
The Monaco Yacht Summit provided participants with direct access to the expertise of industry leaders, real-world insights into their own projects, and tangible solutions for yacht acquisition, construction or charter. A structured, pragmatic programme aligned with both client expectations and market realities.
Exceptional superyachts and thematic spaces for a complete immersion
The Dockside Area, the true heart of the show along the quays of Port Hercule, showcased 120 superyachts, including 50 new 2025 models and 20 yachts launched in 2024. This unique selection, representing the very pinnacle of global yachting with an estimated value of €4.3 billion (source: SuperYacht Times) and with nearly 60% of the fleet less than two years old, perfectly illustrates the exclusive and exceptional character of the Monaco Yacht Show – the stage of choice for the industry’s world premieres.
Private clients enjoyed a complete immersion into the luxury yachting universe, discovering outstanding designs, bespoke interiors and cutting-edge technologies, while concretely considering acquisition, charter or new-build projects.
Visitors experienced yachting in all its dimensions through the thematic exhibition areas. The Parvis Piscine and the Upper Deck Lounge highlighted luxury decoration and interior design, combining refined aesthetics, optimal comfort and bespoke solutions. These spaces showcased ultra high-end products and services, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship, while also promoting the latest superyachting destinations.
Quai Albert Ier and Darse Sud featured refit shipyards, marinas and cutting-edge technology, ranging from onboard smart systems to the latest propulsion and navigation solutions, giving visitors a clear insight into the innovations shaping today’s yachts.
The Yacht Design & Innovation Hub immersed visitors in the future of yachting. Sixteen designers and naval architects presented their avant-garde concepts, while immersive 3D and interactive journeys (Immersive Experience and Innovation Deck) showcased the trends set to shape tomorrow’s superyacht industry and the evolution of onboard technology over the coming decades. Located at the very heart of the show, alongside the superyachts afloat, this hub was an unmissable destination for owners, future buyers and professionals involved in yacht construction projects.
The Adventure Area, spanning Quai Jarlan and Quai Antoine Ier, presented 57 tenders, a curated selection of innovative water toys, and 23 luxury vehicles – a comprehensive showcase of leisure and lifestyle experiences associated with yachting. These areas reflected the Monaco Yacht Show’s commitment to presenting the very best in yachting culture – elegance, performance and thrill-seeking, all essential to the private client experience.
