The Maltese firm Melita Power Diesel (MPD) has won the Rolls Royce Power System Service Partner of the Year Award 2016/17.
MTU is one of the largest engine manufactures in the world forming part of Rolls Royce Power Systems. Melita Power Diesel forms part of the Melita Marine Group which also operates a shipyard, chandlery and Agency in Malta including related engineering activates. Noel Borg, accepted the award on behalf of the Melita Power Diesel Ltd at the MTU Head offices, in Germany.
This highly prestigious global award in is given according to strict criteria governing the quality and efficiency of the service. The judging panel is made up of the Board of directors of Rolls Royce MTU.
MPD managed to win the award for service, amongst other nominees from all four corners of the globe
As of the 1st November 2017 Melita Power Diesel Ltd has also been granted an additional territory of responsibility as sole distributors – Greece. Melita Power Diesel Ltd are already the sole distributors for Malta and Libya.
