Deo Juvante has unveiled the TS40, a revolutionary 40-metre explorer trimaran combining superyacht luxury with high-speed transoceanic capability.
New American brand Deo Juvante has unveiled a new 40-metre explorer trimaran yacht concept known as TS40, marking a bold entry into the world of high-performance luxury vessels. This ambitious project aims to bridge the gap between the rugged capability of a global explorer and the refined elegance of a traditional superyacht. By choosing a trimaran configuration, Deo Juvante addresses the age-old challenge of stability at sea, utilizing a wide ten-metre beam to provide a steady platform that eliminates the uncomfortable rolling motion often found in monohulls.
Innovative engineering and performance
The architectural foundation of the TS40 is rooted in efficiency and speed. Designed by the renowned New Zealand-based firm LOMOcean, the yacht features a distinctive inverted bow that pierces through waves rather than riding over them, ensuring a smooth journey even in challenging maritime conditions.
This innovative hull design allows the TS40 to achieve remarkable performance metrics, including a cruising speed of 20 knots and a maximum speed of 25 knots. Such capability means the vessel can cover 500 nautical miles in a single day, potentially completing a transatlantic crossing in just six days, a feat that sets it apart from traditional slow-moving explorers.
A sophisticated dual-interior concept
Inside, the TS40 offers a unique dual-personality layout envisioned by designer Kurt Wallaeys. The main deck is crafted to exude a sophisticated superyacht atmosphere, perfect for entertaining and social gatherings in glamorous ports. In contrast, the lower deck is designed with a more practical explorer vibe, catering to the functional needs of long-term life at sea. The yacht accommodates up to twelve guests across six cabins, with a master suite that offers panoramic views and a direct connection to the surrounding seascape.
Autonomy and sustainable luxury
Sustainability and autonomy are at the heart of the TS40 concept. The vessel is engineered for a range exceeding 3,000 nautical miles, supported by a hybrid propulsion system that integrates MAN engines with electric pods for silent maneuvering.
From the option for a touch-down helipad to the inclusion of advanced solar technology, every detail of the Deo Juvante TS40 is tailored for the modern adventurer who refuses to compromise on speed, safety, or luxury while exploring the furthest reaches of the globe.
