Many new products on display at Seaquip

Seaquip’s debut in Milan gathers 160 exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge maritime innovations and sustainable technologies to redefine the future of yachting.

The first edition of Seaquip will bring together over 160 exhibitors from 13 countries. Below is a selection of solutions and innovations that will be showcased at the Mediterranean Yacht and Marine Equipment Trade Fair, taking place in Milan from March 4 to 6, with Skipper ONDECK serving as a proud media sponsor.

The Energy Recovery System is the latest technology developed by CMC Marine in collaboration with its suppliers. Inspired by the KERS System (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), originally developed for Formula 1 and gradually being adopted in the marine sector, this innovation allows energy generated during the stabilizer fin braking phase to be recovered and reused during acceleration. The result is a significant elimination of power peaks required from the generators and up to 30% lower energy consumption, while still ensuring high stabilization performance even at zero speed. The fins will therefore be able to operate with just a single generator on, helping to reduce noise, vibrations, and emissions.
