Hermès welcomes Greece and the great anniversary of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution

As this year marks 200 years since the Greek Revolution of 1821, luxury brand Hermès has created a collectible scarf paying tribute to the special celebration.

The limited edition all-silk scarf features characteristic landscapes of Greece and bolds the word Ἐλευθερία (Freedom). Designed by Athens-based artist Elias Kafouros, all proceeds will be donated to Thoracic Diseases General Hospital Sotiria.

The limited edition scarf will be available at Hermès Athens from March 26, 2021. “The history of Greece is global and as Europeans, our destiny is linked to the destiny of Greece,” said Pierre-Alexis Dumas, the creative director of the world’s most illustrious luxury brand, Hermès.
