On Thursday October 22nd, Athens and the southern Greece was hit by a severe thunderstorm with heavy downpours.
The thunderstorm was accompanied by a tornado which has caused considerable damage to buildings and infrastructure, including the Lavrion Port. Several yachts which were in storage at the port have been damaged, toppled by the strong winds.
Pantaenius representatives are on site, evaluating the extent of the damage. We will shortly contact owners of vessels affected. In the meantime, we kindly ask all clients with a vessel at the Lavrion port to contact their individual Pantaenius Office.
