Azimut Verve 48 wins Robb Report Best of the Best 2024

Another award for Azimut's Verve 48 comes from the jury of the Robb Report Best of the Best 2024, which chose this model as the winner of the "Dayboat" category.

This important recognition, awarded every year by the American magazine Robb Report, underlines the success achieved by the Verve Series, benchmark in her category and number one in US market share today with over 120 units sold in four years. Azimut's Verve 48 was awarded for "the triple 600hp Mercury outboards, open exterior, and foldout rear deck” that make it the best dayboat, according to the jury composed of journalists from Robb Report US.

The project by Francesco Struglia, designer of the exteriors and interiors of Verve 48, envisages an innovative concept of the sport-weekender, which on the one hand allows the owner to glide over the water while, on the other, to enjoy stays at anchor in full harmony with the sea.

AZIMUT VERVE 48
Verve 48 is the sport-weekender which presents interesting developments designed by Azimut in collaboration with Francesco Struglia, who designed the interiors and exteriors. The stern area is completely new, larger and integrated with two ladders to easily get into the water. On the left, and in continuity, a swim platform of unprecedented width opens up. These two elements form a single, extended platform on the water offering the possibility to experiencing the sea in freedom.

The powerful and agile nature of the Verve 48 is unleashed by the three 600hp Mercury V12s, which allow you to reach up to 50 knots and cruise efficiently with fuel consumption reduced by 15%. Noise is also reduced by up to 10 decibels compared to the previous Verve 47 and is appreciated from the first moment you get on board, barely being able to hear the engines starting. On the one hand a sporty and gritty soul, on the other welcoming and convivial: the layout of the cockpit allows, thanks to the geometry and optimization of spaces, a fun or more relaxed experience depending on the moment. Another distinctive feature of Verve 48 is the new hardtop, slender and enveloping in shape, also available with a tempered glass insert which, in addition to lightening the structure of the hardtop, lets in light and air even at anchor.

Completing this Series of sport-weekenders with outboard engines is the Verve 42, a 13-meter yacht that incorporates the qualities of the Verve 48 into a more compact model. This boat, suitable for a younger, sophisticated owner, features the Stepped 'V' Ventilated Tunnel (SVVT) hull to reduce water resistance and improve performance. The design of interiors and exteriors, conceived by Francesco Struglia, enhances function through emotion, using transparent surfaces inspired by Italian sports cars of the 1970s. This sporty and glamorous yacht can accommodate up to 12 people during the day, with well-organized and comfortable spaces. Equipped with three Mercury outboard engines, Verve 42 can reach a maximum speed of 45 knots and has a range of 200 nautical miles.
