De Antonio Yachts makes history and wins the two most important international nautical awards of the year at the Düsseldorf boat show.
De Antonio Yachts has once again demonstrated its leadership and commitment to innovation and design, winning the two prizes awarded during the International Boat Show: the European Powerboat of the Year award in the up to 14-metre category and the Motor Boat Awards in the Weekender category, with the D36 Open model presented at the last edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
European Powerboat of the Year 2023
The European Powerboat of the Year is an award that is given every year by a specialized jury made up of the most prominent representatives of the European nautical press. These awards are considered the "Oscars" of yachting, and De Antonio Yachts is one of the few brands to win it twice, as in 2019 it was awarded to the D46 Cruiser model and this year, to the new D36 Open. According to the award jury, the 36-foot De Antonio Yachts yacht is a fast, efficient boat, which stands out for the quality of its finishes, its sailing performance and the innovative solution of the hidden outboard engines, a main feature of the brand and which is present in all models.
Motor Boat Awards 2023
The D36 Open model was also a winner at the Motor Boat Awards in the Weekender category. The awards are organized by Motor Boat and Yachting magazine and celebrate excellence in the boating industry. Hugo Andreae, editor-in-chief of Motor Boat & Yachting, commented: "Not only is it a boat with cutting-edge design, space for leisure and comfort, but it's also a fun driving experience at a very attractive price”.
Undoubtedly, the D36 Open is an exceptional model, extolling the DNA of the brand, which demonstrates, once again, that after 10 years, it has become a benchmark and a leader in the nautical market, contributing to the future of the sector with solutions in design, innovation, and efficiency, projecting the Barcelona brand and the Spanish industry to the top of the international nautical industry.
