On the 26th of June, the Golden Yachts team attended the celebratory reception for the successful delivery of the 95m O’PARI, which has been its latest endeavour.
This reception was attended by the Owner’s party, the project team, the yacht crew, the shipyard staff and the Charter Managers of Atalanta Golden Yachts. Moreover, the Hellenic Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy and the Minister of Development and Investment of Greece, among other political figures, attended the ceremony.

Golden Yachts has penned some of the most dynamic yachts to hit the waters in recent years. Together with the outstanding 85m O’PTASIA and the well-known 56m O’MATHILDE, O’PARI stands proudly, 14th in line in the shipyard’s impressive fleet. M/Y O’PTASIA received an award from the prestigious International Superyacht Society (ISS) in the Power 65 m+ category at the 29th annual Design & Leadership Award Gala 2019. O’PATI was accoladed as the Best Power Yacht in the 24-40m category in 2012. “Our aim is to build yachts like this; imagine them in Greek waters, the birthplace of naval mastery, their every detail taken care of with the utmost perfectionism. “Currently, we are undergoing the construction of an 88-meter M/Y named PROJECT X. Measuring approximately 3,000 GRT with a beam of 14,8 metres, it is expected to be delivered in spring of 2022. Inside the outstanding 95m yacht
Her overall beam reaches 13.8m with a very generous internal height (deck to deck) of 2,9m and, measuring 2.700GRT, she offers space and comfort onboard. A bright, sporty look combines high speeds with environmentally friendly construction, keeping fuel consumption at a minimum. The Rome-based Interin studio of Giorgio and Stefano Vafiadis, with its lifelong collaboration with the Golden Yachts shipyard, has guided the design, lines and interior aesthetics.
Her exterior design is described by soft hull lines, which give her a distinctive aerodynamic and supple look. Large open spaces blur the boundaries between indoors and out, providing an open plan that can be enjoyed throughout the day, through contrasts of shadow and light, as well as cooler and warmer ambiences. Large aft decks offer space for a touch-and-go helipad in the forward Upper Deck, while the open-space sundeck sets the scene for a party with a DJ booth, a fully furnished bar, a panoramic-view Jacuzzi and vast lounge areas. The holistic experience is enhanced by a candle-lit massage room, warm Turkish hammam and dry Finnish sauna.

Art to Sea – on board O’PARI.
Golden Yachts' Vasilis Dragnis, in collaboration with the Athens-based art advisor Anna Chatzinasiou, founder of Ach Art Advisory, created an important Art Collection which features nearly 70 original artworks,some of which have been especially commissioned for O’PARI. All have been created by contemporary artists from all around the world, including some of the most notable artists of the Greek art scene, who expressed themselves through painting, photography, in situation installations and sculptures. The concept of the Art Collection is based on O’PARI’s unique design and philosophy which relates to the relationship between man and nature, as well as naval architecture and seascapes.
