DEAR YACHTSMAN,
Yachties who enjoy the alluring offers of the sea can be found all around the globe. Should it be to simply swim in a secluded bay or enjoy the nightlife of Phi Beach on Sardinia, it seems that yachting life has established itself firmly in our society. All yachties are free to fulfil their dreams on the sea without attracting the attention of "guardia financia" and other official bodies during their summer cruise. In general, it seems that despite troubled times it is once again politically correct to enjoy yourself and I say: why not? There has never been a better time to get into yachting. We are currently experiencing a flourishing upward trend in the global yachting industry.
Yacht prices are at a historical low and an abundance of beautiful yachts are available for charter
or purchase. At the same time service levels across the industry have increased at no extra cost to the owner. All the industry players have identified the need to put in extra effort to gain and retain clients. Captains and crew are well trained and the world has become more accessible to the yachtie.
This is truly a wonderful time to be a yacht owner and a sign that the yachting spirit has matured following the crisis and is, once again, there to be cherished!
