IYC is delighted to announce the resale of hull #1 (596) Admiral 72 | Giorgio Armani.
Leading yacht brokerage firm IYC has announced the successful resale of hull one in Admiral’s 72-metre Giorgio Armani-designed superyacht series, known as Project Metamorphosis. Built by The Italian Sea Group (TISG) under its Admiral brand, the yacht’s original 2024 delivery year has now been pushed back to April 2025 to account for “additional upgrades” by her new owner.
IYC‘s global managing partner Michel Chryssicopoulos represented the seller, having initially sold the yacht in 2020, while Darren Hall of Yachtzoo brought the buyer.
The yacht features six en suite guest cabins on the main deck
The 2,000GT yacht will have both interior and exterior design from the drawing boards of Giorgio Armani, and will feature an ice-class hull, 6,000 nautical mile range and a main deck with a six-cabin layout.
Project Metamorphosis will also feature a 180-square-metre owner’s deck. Speaking previously about the project, Chryssicopoulos said the yacht would “reinvent traditional yacht design” and “redefine the boundaries of innovation, space and design in yachting”.
A representative from IYC extended thanks to Arrow Monaco, Giannis Markogiannis Law and Hill Dickinson Monaco and added that the second hull in the series remains on schedule for delivery in the second quarter of 2025.
The superyacht was initially announced as part of a gala dinner at TISG‘s Marina di Carrara facilities in February 2023. The reason for the resale was not disclosed, but IYC noted that the in-build yacht was asking €105,000,000 at the time of sale.
