CCN-Cerri Cantieri Navali will be taking part in the Cannes Yachting Festival (6-11 September 2016) and the Monaco Yacht Show (28-1 October) with hull no.4 in the 102’ Flyingsport line, on display as a worldwide première.
The latest yacht in the Flyingsport ‘family’ – which was launched in Marina di Carrara yesterday – stands out for its slender lines and epitomizes all the winning features of the line it belongs to: a skilful combination of the comfort of a flying bridge with the sporty character and speed of large open yachts, and a flawless blend of refined style and impressive performance.
The yacht’s contemporary design interiors juxtapose dark wood to opaque lacquered surfaces and marbles, a solution that, together with design furnitureand accessories, results in an extremely stylish and sophisticated atmosphere. Worth mentioning is also the full-grain aniline finished leather with ton-sur-ton stitchings, extensively used across the entire vessel.
On the main deck, the focus point of on-board space is the fore backlit wall, with bamboo lathwork alternating with serigraphed glass and mirroring surfaces: it was conceived to create a special visual effect that ‘extends the view’ while also highlighting the overall space balance without reducing the size of the saloon, which is very spacious indeed. In the middle stands a large sofa lined with a light-shade fabric, ideal for onboard conviviality.
Aft, access to the cockpit is gained through a leather-lined portal, which also perfectly frames the view from the cockpit into the saloon.
Great care has been devoted to the lighting system, which features light beams and design lamps.
The modern helm station is also found on this deck, characterised by a new design with the instrument panel lined in leather with double stitched flat fell seams. Behind it, the captain’s cabin can boast a privileged position, unusual on 102’ Flyingsport models.
The entire lower deck has been used for accommodation, with the master cabin and 3 guest cabins having the same stylistic features found across the entire yacht.
The crew area, with separate access from the stern, includes a dinette/galley and a laundry area, while the 3 berths for the sailors are located forward. The new CCN 102’ Flyingsport is yet another step in CCN’s path to the highest excellence and quality standards. Another ‘ambassador’ of it is the new Fuoriserie line, officially launched early in 2016, which marked the Carrara-based boat builder’s debut in the sector of one-off constructions – individual projects that meet the clients’ request for ultimate customisation and that bear witness to CCN’s great flexibility and ability to meet the highest and most challenging requirements for tailor-made solutions.
