Historic Hellenic Battleship “GEORGIOS AVEROF” was recently equipped with new mooring ropes. They look vintage taking us back 100 years in time but are actually made of durable, state-of-the art materials. D.KORONAKIS Company, after meticulously researching historic photographs, seamen’s manuals (e.g. a rigger’s manual dating back to 1915) produced and generously sponsored the new mooring ropes. The custom made special rope made of specially developed yarns which makes it very UV and abrasion resistant.
