The Galeon 560 FLY shown with a new interior design in the Ocean version of the Mediterranean style, combining balanced layouts, functionality, and a calm, contemporary atmosphere.
Galeon Yachts returns to BOOT Düsseldorf with a significant presence, presenting five models on display and underlining its established position in the flybridge and motor yacht segment. Among the highlights is the Galeon 560 FLY, shown with a newly introduced interior design, offering visitors a closer look at the latest evolution of this established flybridge model. The 560 FLY represents Galeon’s approach to the flybridge segment, combining generous interior and exterior volumes with balanced proportions and functional layouts.
Mediterranean inspired with modern design
The yacht is presented in the Ocean version of the Mediterranean interior design, developed in collaboration with Insitu & Partners. This design emphasizes a calm, modern atmosphere through restrained color palettes, natural materials, and carefully considered detailing. Externally, the 560 FLY is characterized by clean, well-defined lines, extensive glazing, and a distinctive flybridge profile that supports both aesthetics and functionality. The flybridge is arranged to accommodate social use as well as relaxed cruising, offering ample seating and clear sightlines through glass-panelled railings, which contribute to a sense of openness without compromising safety.
Deck spaces are designed with adaptability in mind. Galeon’s optional Beach Mode allows the cockpit to expand at anchor, increasing usable deck area and improving access to the water. The bathing platform is sized to support swimming, water sports, and tender operations, reflecting the yacht’s intended use for extended cruising and time at anchor. Τhe interior layout follows an open-plan arrangement on the main deck, connecting the salon, dining area, and galley into a single, functional living space.
Light, luxury, recognition
Large windows and extensive glazing provide natural light throughout the day, enhancing visibility and comfort on board. Owners can choose from a wide range of finishes and materials, allowing a degree of customization while maintaining Galeon’s established construction standards and craftsmanship.Accommodation on the lower deck is arranged for up to six guests and includes a full-beam master cabin, a forward VIP cabin, and a guest cabin. Two bathrooms serve the accommodation area. Attention has been given to headroom, storage, and lighting, ensuring the layout is suitable for longer stays rather than short-term use only.
The Galeon 560 FLY has received industry recognition, earning a “Highly Commended” distinction at the 2025 Motor Boat Awards in the category of Best Flybridges up to 60 ft. The award highlights the model’s balanced approach to design, performance, and onboard functionality.
