Bavaria designed the 23-foot daysailer, which is available from April 2012, in cooperation with Farr Yacht Design. This is the Giebelstadt shipyard's first entry into the small boats' market. The B/ONE's slim lifting keel has a ballast of 370 kilograms and can be retracted into the boat. The rudder blade is also retractable. This makes the B/ONE easy to transport on a trailer.
The aluminum mast can be easily raised by two people by hand. On water, the B/ONE's uncomplicated handling and optimal sailing characteristics allow it to be sailed by a crew of three or four.
Four person berth and great stability on the water
The modest entry price offers great value for money to newcomers and young sailors. Its dimensions are also large enough to accommodate up to seven people looking for sailing experience – and fun (for example, at sailing clubs and sailing schools). The Bavaria B/ONE will also be raced by professionals at international events. The classic yacht design provides a four person berth and also delivers outstanding stability on the water. And there are designated locations for a WC, cool box or cooker on board. The B/ONE will be available from April at an entry level price of 22,900 euros (excl. VAT) - ex works.

Rhoades Young Design is delighted to announce their nomination for 3 World Superyacht Awards. The coveted nominations are for the elegant 30m sloop Antares III built in New Zealand by Yachting Developments, the 42m Sarissa – a carbon high performance sloop from Vitters and the exceptional 67m Pilot Cutter styled ultra lightweight high performance Hetairos, without doubt the most innovative, groundbreaking sailing yacht launched for a generation.
Jonathan Rhoades, Director, notes, 'With such varied and extraordinary projects to launch in such a short timeframe, it has been a really exciting time for us. It is testament to the hard work of everyone involved, not just my team but the yards, naval architects, and the Clients themselves that have made it all such an enjoyable process and a great success.'

Built at Royal Huisman Shipyard with naval architecture by Dykstra, she epitomises the classical romance of ocean voyaging.
