After Motor Yacht Attitude, Custom 38m Motor Yacht "Enterprise" hit the water last Saturday.
Last weekend was a very special one at Baglietto shipyard: two launches of two brand-new projects in two days is an exciting result for the La-Spezia based shipyard, and one that marks the magic period Baglietto is currently going through.
"We are experiencing an incredibly lively time - states Baglietto CCO Fabio Ermetto - which is custom projects - MY RUSH and ENTERPRISE - and ATTITUDE, the first unit in the DOM133 series, all perfectly on schedule. This implied a considerable effort, but also highlighted the great organisation potential of our shipyard and, I want to particularly emphasize this, the quality of its team, without whom such outstanding results wouldn't have been achievable. Motor yacht ENTERPRISE - continues Ermetto - is a highly innovative custom project for which a brand-new platform was developed and she has definitely the potential to become the first of a series".
With her straight-bow, 38 m aluminium hull and superstructure, Enterprise bears the signature of Francesco Paszkowski Design and project management by Roni Meshoulam, who represented the Owner during the construction stage. The interior was mostly signed by the Owner’s wife in collaboration with the shipyard’s interior design team.
No one better than her Owner can express the very sense of ENTERPRISE: “Life is sometimes about circumstances and destiny. So is the story of Enterprise. Almost 3 years ago we had the good idea to visit Baglietto. We liked what we saw. Top quality, pride of ownership, innovative designs, and an interest in building relationships with customers from the US. Most importantly, people we trusted and wanted to work with. Our shared vision was to break the mould. Not to build a boat that was typical and expected but to create something innovative. What began as a sketch on a piece of paper… a villa on the sea, has become real. A yacht that will make a statement wherever she goes. Bold, striking, sleek. Exploration style, a vertical bow, tri-deck design, transatlantic range, 440 GT. The largest 38 m vessel by volume ever built. She will generate excitement wherever she goes. People will ask 'What is it?' They will know it is unique. They will know it’s a Baglietto.”
The extensive use of glass with full-height windows on the main deck and the upper deck is certainly the main feature of this new project. The profile alternates soft lines at the stern with more powerful sections at the bow, with large windows perfectly integrated into the structure. The volume is also significant, thanks to a beam of 8.80 m.
Thanks to two Caterpillar ACERT C32 engines, the boat can reach a maximum speed of 18 knots.
ENTERPRISE will be a worldwide premiere at the next Monaco Yacht Show.
