The new breathable boot collection from Gill is the most technical breathable waterproof footwear that we have ever produced.
We have invested in two years of research and constant testing to create the ultimate breathable waterproof durable sailing boot. Using a unique combination of a tough TPU lightweight moulding for the foot bed in conjunction with our breathable laminate membrane we have created the two key factors of complete waterproofness and the comfort of breathability.
We have 2 designs in this collection: The classic tall Performance Boot, for harsh conditions and great for offshore use gives you complete confidence and comfortable protection when you need it – it even has a grab handle system to make them easy to get on in a hurry.
Performance Race boot is designed specifically for use in high activity environments where agility and grip make the difference. This new concept has many benefits, it is extremely lightweight and easy to wear, and could be thought of as a completely waterproof sailing trainer.
The Gill proprietary sole with its unique repeat design is used on both styles; it provides brilliant grip and flexibility on deck and has water dispersal channels to prevent aquaplaning.
