Fairline Yachts sells milestone 100th boat

British luxury motor yacht manufacturer, Fairline Yachts, announces it has sold its milestone 100th boat, a Targa 48 GT, to its new dealer for the Great Lakes in the USA.

Testament to the incredible re-launch of the brand, in just 16 months Fairline Yachts has introduced innovative new models, enhanced existing ones, strengthened its international dealer network, signed exciting partnerships, exhibited at boat shows across the globe, and is now celebrating its 100th boat sold since the new company began trading at the end of January 2016.

Fairline Yachts’ 100th boat has been sold to Spring Brook Marina in Illinois, USA, which was recently appointed as Fairline’s new dealer for the Great Lakes region and will trade as Fairline Great Lakes. Established in 1961, and still owned by the initial founders, Spring Brook Marina is a top North American marine dealer that prides itself on its ‘white glove’ after-sales service. Spring Brook Marina will sell both new and existing Fairline models and is set to exhibit at a range of US boat shows, including Chicago, Michigan, Ohio and the ever popular Miami and Fort Lauderdale boat shows.

Spring Brook Marina’s General Manager, Kyle Stenzel, has been with the company for 15 years and has achieved several ‘Top Salesman’ awards in the process. Kyle comments, “As a dealership that specialises in the 40 to 80 foot motor yacht range, Fairline is a perfect fit for Spring Brook Marina and our customer base. We are excited to be able to offer such high quality models to the people of the Great Lakes and increase Fairline’s presence in the area, ensuring all of our customers are aware of Fairline’s special 50th anniversary year.

“Our order of a Targa 48 GT, Fairline Yachts’ 100th sale, evidences our confidence that Fairline will be of great immediate interest to our well-established customer base.”

Managing Director of Fairline Yachts, Russell Currie, adds, “The Great Lakes is an ideal territory for Fairline to be expanding into, and we have full confidence that Kyle and the team will present our brand to the market the way that it deserves to be presented.

We are all very proud to have sold our 100th boat since the launch of Fairline Yachts last January, and we have no doubts that this management team will continue to achieve even more outstanding milestone victories.”
