Aiming to promote a strong restart for the yachting industry and Sea Tourism, the first Olympic Yacht Show will take place from October 1st to 5th, 2021, in the beautiful facilities of Olympic Marine in Sounio, under the eyes of mythical king Aegeus. The event is organised by ONDECK Events, in cooperation with Olympic Marine.
The 1st Olympic Yacht Show will be held both at the floating and the upland area of the marina. The visitors will have the opportunity to admire the one-of-a-kind artworks of naval architecture mastery in their natural environment. The event has attracted the interest of the global yachting scene and, on these days, the hearts of all sea lovers and yacht enthusiasts worldwide will beat in Greece.
International specialised press has characterised the 1st Olympic Yacht Show as “Premium Event”. There is growing interest from every corner of the world and the in-water exhibition area available in the renovated facilities of Olympic Marine is almost filled. The event has already reached 90 boat participations and we are delighted to announce that so far, two of the boats will make their debut at the Greek event, as the participants chose to present them for the first time in the country that is inextricably linked with the sea.
Moreover, the upland section of the show is of particular interest and importance. Leading and distinguished companies from all over the world specialising in yachting equipment, technology and boat services have already confirmed their participation in the world-class yacht meeting.
Main ambition of the organisers is for the Olympic Yacht Show to evolve into an annual international yachting event and to highlight the potential of Greece in this sector.
