Damen Yachting launches PANGEA, the first 80-metre Amels superyacht, marking a new era in cutting-edge design and luxury at sea.
Vlissingen, the Netherlands – Damen Yachting has marked a major milestone with the delivery and departure of the first Amels 80, the newly launched superyacht PANGEA. As the inaugural vessel in the 80-metre Amels Limited Editions line, PANGEA represents the debut of a fully reimagined design intended to shape the future of modern luxury yachting.

The yacht features an exterior crafted by Espen Øino International and interiors designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. Among its signature elements is the expansive Amels Sun Deck, highlighted by an oversized jacuzzi and generous open-air lounging areas. The Beach Club offers a full wellness and spa retreat, opening on three sides to the sea and equipped with a gym, hammam and sauna. A standout engineering achievement is the 6.5-metre glass-bottomed pool on the Main Deck Aft, which doubles as a skylight that illuminates the Beach Club below.
Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows in the Main Deck Lounge frame sweeping ocean panoramas while maintaining a fluid connection to the aft exterior deck. The private Owner’s Deck measures an impressive 517 square metres, while six additional Main Deck cabins bring total guest accommodations to 14 across seven suites.
Designed with long-range exploration and onboard comfort in mind, PANGEA carries an extensive collection of watercraft and toys within a forward tender garage and offers a touch-and-go helipad for streamlined arrivals. The Amels 80 platform itself blends contemporary exterior styling with advanced systems and custom craftsmanship, supported by an efficient hull form and modern propulsion technology that delivers exceptionally quiet performance over extended voyages.
