From June 10–13, Antiparos hosts the third Cyclades Cup, featuring a prestigious international superyacht fleet for high-level Aegean racing.
From 10 to 13 June 2026, the Aegean will once again host one of the most elegant gatherings in the international superyacht racing calendar: the Cyclades Cup in Antiparos. Now entering its third edition, the regatta continues to grow in prestige while preserving its unique owner-driven spirit and relaxed Cycladic atmosphere. Organised in collaboration with the Yacht Club of Greece, the event brings together sailing yachts over 30 metres as well as dedicated racing classes for 90-foot and 100-foot yachts. Set against the steady Meltemi winds and the spectacular scenery of the Cyclades, the regatta combines high-level racing with a social programme that celebrates Greek hospitality and the camaraderie of the sailing community.
A distinguished international fleet
The 2026 Cyclades Cup has already attracted a fleet of remarkable yachts, ranging from modern carbon performance yachts to historic sailing icons. Among the returning participants are several stand-out names that have already made their mark on the regatta. The powerful Barong D, the 33-metre Wally 110 designed by Frers Yacht Design, is expected to be one of the fastest yachts on the course. Built for precision racing, she has already demonstrated her potential in previous editions of the event.
Another notable contender is Almyra II, the impressive 50-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht owned by the regatta’s co-founder Ilia Rigas. With her elegant lines and powerful sail plan, the yacht has become one of the recognisable figures of the Cyclades Cup fleet.
Classic sailing heritage will also be represented. The legendary schooner Puritan, originally launched in 1930 and meticulously restored in 2011, brings timeless beauty to the starting line and highlights the regatta’s appreciation for traditional craftsmanship alongside cutting-edge performance yachts. The fleet also includes yachts such as Aristarchos, the largest yacht ever built by Nautor Swan, and Burrasca, a 56-metre Ron Holland-designed Perini Navi, both demonstrating the scale and diversity of the event’s participants.

Racing in the heart of the Aegean
Unlike many highly professionalized regattas, the Cyclades Cup was conceived as an owner-centric event, where competitive sailing coexists with a relaxed and authentic island experience. Crews, owners, families and guests share the same rhythm both on and off the water, turning the regatta into a celebration of sailing culture rather than a purely competitive event.
Each day’s racecourse is selected according to the wind conditions, typically offering between two and three hours of exhilarating sailing across the crystal-clear waters surrounding Antiparos and the neighbouring islands.
ONDECK supporting the event since the beginning
From its very first edition, Skipper ONDECK has proudly supported the Cyclades Cup, recognizing early the importance of a regatta that celebrates both the competitive and the cultural side of superyacht sailing in Greece. As the event continues to expand its international reputation, the Cyclades Cup stands today as one of the most distinctive sailing gatherings in the Mediterranean—bringing together exceptional yachts, passionate owners and the incomparable sailing conditions of the Aegean. With another impressive fleet preparing to line up in Antiparos this June, the 2026 edition promises once again to deliver spectacular racing and unforgettable moments at sea.
