CRN M/Y AMOR À VIDA: The Pinnacle of bespoke superyacht excellence

The 67.55-metre bespoke masterpiece CRN M/Y AMOR À VIDA makes its American debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.

The launch of the CRN M/Y AMOR À VIDA marks a significant milestone in the world of luxury yachting, representing a masterpiece of design and marine engineering. This 67.55-metre full-custom superyacht is the result of a sophisticated collaboration between the engineering expertise of CRN and the Ferretti Group Superyacht Division and the creative vision of the world-renowned design firm Nuvolari Lenard. With a beam of 11.80 metres and a gross tonnage of 1447 GT, the vessel features a displacement hull built from steel and aluminium, characterized by sleek, sporty, and distinctive lines that continue the historic Italian shipyard’s tradition of bespoke craftsmanship. In a highly anticipated event, CRN M/Y AMOR À VIDA will debut with its American premiere at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, taking place from March 25 to 29.

The name AMOR À VIDA, which means “Love for Life” in Portuguese, perfectly encapsulates the owner’s philosophy -a celebration of conviviality and the magic of the sea. Originally known as Project Maranello, the yacht’s design roots lie in the owner’s passion for luxury cars, evoking Italian excellence, high technology, and custom design. This identity is visible in the powerful, sculpted lines of the silhouette, which sweep down from the bow on the Upper Deck to the beach club, merging into the wake during cruising.

A Design philosophy rooted in connection and continuity

One of the defining traits of AMOR À VIDA is the seamless fluidity between its indoor and outdoor spaces. Extensive full-beam glazing on every deck offers endless views of the horizon, flooding the interiors with natural light and establishing constant contact with the water. The interior design, directed by Valentina Zannier from Nuvolari Lenard, follows a language of discreet luxury where flowing volumes and an absence of sharp corners create an elegant aesthetic.

A sophisticated color palette defines the atmosphere on board, with “peacock blue” serving as the elegant fil rouge -a recurring theme that reflects the owner’s deep passion for the sea. The materials used throughout the yacht include polished sycamore, Java teak, and hand-stitched leather, creating a contemporary and refined environment. Throughout the construction process, the brokerage house Moran Yacht & Ship acted as the owner’s representative, ensuring every technical detail and contractor management met the highest standards of excellence.

The main deck: The heart of social interaction

The Main Deck is specifically designed to foster social moments, featuring a generous cockpit organized around a large swimming pool. This pool is not only a center for relaxation with its hydromassage jets and peacock-colored mosaic tiles, but also a source of natural light for the area below, thanks to its transparent bottom. The main lounge inside echoes this sense of openness with floor-to-ceiling windows and a ceiling clad in polished sycamore.

Central to the dining area is a custom oval table for 12 guests, positioned opposite a unique American bar crafted from crystal quartzite. This bar is a work of art in itself, featuring plaster casts of marine ropes—a motif that appears throughout the yacht as a symbol of the owner’s love for cruising. Moving forward, the deck houses a full-beam guest suite that can be divided into two separate cabins by a moving partition, each decorated in the signature peacock blue.

Wellness and guest accommodations on the lower deck

The Lower Deck is home to four VIP cabins, each uniquely decorated in a specific color -red, blue, orange, and yellow- adding a personal bespoke touch to every guest space. These cabins feature high-quality finishes, including Taj Mahal marble vanity tops and sliding mirrors that reflect natural light.

At the stern, the beach club serves as a multi-functional oasis dedicated to total well-being. It features three fold-down sections at the water’s edge and an innovative stern door that fully retracts beneath the swim platform. The area includes a specially designed gym with a lowered floor for increased safety, a sauna, and a steam room clad entirely in travertine marble. A fully appointed massage room with a fold-down wall offers an intimate connection with the ocean during treatments.

The owner’s private sanctuary on the upper deck

The Upper Deck is largely reserved for the owner’s apartment, offering a panoramic oasis of privacy. The owner’s suite features 180-degree views through floor-to-ceiling windows and includes a functional outdoor lounge in the bow. A distinctive design detail is the skylight positioned directly above the double bed, allowing for views of the stars at night.

The owner’s bathroom is a showcase of artisanal craftsmanship, featuring heated floors adorned with wave onyx and walls made of ribbed Taj Mahal marble. The suite also includes a private study with its own sliding glass door for direct access to the side walkway. For social gatherings, the aft part of the deck features a custom teak table for 16 guests and an American bar with a red agate desk.

Innovation, performance, and sustainable cruising

The AMOR À VIDA is powered by an innovative hybrid propulsion system that significantly increases fuel efficiency and ensures a silent cruising experience. It is equipped with two MTU main engines and two synchronous AC electric motors by Siemens Energy, achieving a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. The yacht is IMO TIER III certified, reflecting an evolved vision of environmentally conscious cruising.

Further enhancing its efficiency is a cutting-edge heat recovery system. This system repurposes surplus heat to manage the hot water for the swimming pools and the yacht’s entire plumbing system, drastically reducing energy consumption and operating costs. With a range of 5,200 nautical miles at 12 knots, the AMOR À VIDA is built for long-distance exploration in absolute comfort.

Recreational spaces and technical excellence

The Bridge Deck and Crow’s Nest provide additional layers of luxury and utility. The Bridge Deck features a Jacuzzi, a sunbathing area, and an American bar equipped with an Italian pizza oven. It also includes a TV screen for karaoke evenings. The wheelhouse is a personalized space, with printed leather cladding on the walls depicting a map of an area specifically chosen by the owner.

The Crow’s Nest serves as the highest point for guest relaxation, offering a large sunbathing area that can be quickly transformed into a private cinema under the stars. Even the technical and crew areas reflect CRN’s commitment to quality, with generous quarters and service pantries designed to ensure the well-being of the 17 crew members on board. This superyacht is not just a vessel; it is a unique expression of the bespoke culture that CRN has mastered over its sixty-year history.
