From 12 to 17 September 2023, Bluegame will participate at the Cannes Yachting Festival and will do so with all the disruptive and innovative spirit that distinguishes the brand.
For the first time at the Festival, within the stand shared with the parent company Sanlorenzo, the brand will have an entire quay dedicated exclusively to its vessels.
The Cannes Yachting Festival is the first event to inaugurate the new nautical season and it is here that brands traditionally launch their new models.
Bluegame will not limit itself to this: with the World Première of BGM75, the Sanlorenzo group’s first multihull, Bluegame will in fact launch a new range that does not fit into an existing segment but creates a new one. Once again, Bluegame, challenging conventional models, creating the first luxury motor yacht consistent with the strategic positioning of the Sanlorenzo group, which ‘incidentally’ has two hulls. This is a result that clearly distances it from the catamarans on the market, as it combines the advantages of a multihull in terms of sustainability with the harmony and elegance that distinguish Bluegame and Sanlorenzo production; an objective achieved thanks to an unusual ratio between length and width, where the latter is significantly reduced. The greater proximity of the two hulls has also made it possible to create a seamless lower deck and a full beam owner’s cabin, an unprecedented feature for a yacht with two hulls. In fact, it overcomes the limitations of the separation of the two hulls.
After three years of meticulous studies and analysis, culminating in the construction of a full-scale prototype of the hull to validate the research data and guarantee unparalleled sailing comfort, BGM75 will be previewed on the night of 11 September, unveiled to the press and a select number of guests in front of the Plage at the Majestic Barrière, during the gala evening organised for the Sanlorenzo Group’s press conference.
BGM75 will have to share the spotlight with another Bluegame premiere present at Cannes: the BGH, symbol of Bluegame and Sanlorenzo’s commitment to sustainability.
Of the hydrogen-powered chase boat that will fly on foils at 50 knots and zero emissions, until now only a scale model has been shown. Now, however, visitors will finally be able to discover the real model that will flank American Magic, challenger to the 37th America’s Cup in 2024, in the waters off Barcelona.
Alongside the BGM75 and BGH, guests will be able to appreciate the yachts that have made Bluegame famous the world over: BG42, BG54 and the new BG74 and BGX63 models, a successful evolution of BG72 and BGX60.
