Blue Wake™ takes shape ahead of the Monaco Yacht Show 2025

The Monaco Yacht Show’s newly launched Blue Wake™ programme takes a decisive step forward with the spotlighting of its first exhibitors with concrete solutions and proof of these environmental advancements.

A total of 17 exhibiting companies have already received official validation from the Water Revolution Foundation – the programme’s partner – ensuring that the selection process is both credible and robust.

Momentum builds for Blue Wake

Blue Wake is becoming a tangible reality with the first wave of exhibitors now confirmed. Based on a rigorous evaluation framework developed by the Water Revolution Foundation, the programme is designed to spotlight proven, high-performance solutions that actively contribute to the industry’s (both product and process) environmental transition – right at the heart of the Monaco Yacht Show, taking place from 24 to 27 September 2025.

Driven by a commitment to transparency and integrity, Blue Wake has been met with strong enthusiasm from exhibitors since its launch. That momentum is now reflected in the official recognition of 17 exhibiting companies – all of which represent a yachting industry that is innovating in a more measurable, transparent and forward-looking direction.

What do they have in common? Each offers products or services that meet strict criteria (see list below), including emissions reduction, material circularity, eco-design, and/or the protection of marine ecosystems. Additional applications are currently under review, reflecting growing interest and engagement across the sector. Sponsored by Siemens Energy, committed to the energy transition, Blue Wake™ embodies a strong momentum towards a smarter and more sustainable yachting industry.

Helping the industry identify proven innovation

With Blue Wake, the Monaco Yacht Show addresses a clear expectation from both private visitors and industry professionals: the need to identify credible, applicable environmental solutions at a glance.

This curated selection not only helps guide yacht owners and project initiators towards more informed, sustainable choices – it also contributes to shaping a more readable and trustworthy offering across the entire industry. It’s a strong signal at a time where yachting’s ecological transition accelerates, requiring practical, evidence-based solutions.

Gaëlle Tallarida – Managing Director, Monaco Yacht Show

“With the launch of Blue Wake, our aim is to bring visibility and clarity to the commitment of companies actively contributing to a more sustainable yachting industry. The programme helps yacht owners and project developers quickly identify exhibitors capable of meeting their expectations in terms of eco-responsible production and equipment. The enthusiastic response from exhibitors highlights a real need: to shine a light on solutions that are not only visionary, but already in place and ready to support the industry’s transformation.”

Robert van Tol – Executive Director, Water Revolution Foundation

“Our role in the Blue Wake programme is to ensure that the vetting process is both credible and rigorous. By publishing the first vetted solutions from exhibitors, we are guaranteeing that these solutions meet high standards of environmental performance, specifically for yachting, and are able to properly proof these credentials. This work supports the industry’s shift towards more sustainable practices but also proper validation of claims.

– There are innovations in every corner of the yachting sector, enhancing both product and process, these deserve the spotlight and shall no longer be overlooked or seen as feature. In order to accelerate on the trajectory of net-zero in 2050, yachting needs to adopt what is already available while continuing to collaborate on further innovations needed. Both for new build projects and the existing fleet.”
