Baltic Yachts Introduces the Baltic 80 Café Racer

As families gather this Christmas, Baltic Yachts is pleased to unveil the Baltic 80 Café Racer, the larger sister to the highly successful Baltic 68 Café Racer, will start construction in the New Year.

This new concept marks the next step in Baltic’s evolution of performance-led, lifestyle-focused sailing yachts.

The Baltic 68 Café Racer has set new benchmarks for speed, style and ease of handling in the large luxury daysailer segment. The Baltic 80 Café Racer builds on that success, scaling the original concept to full maxi-yacht proportions while staying true to its defining principles: safety, simplicity and exhilarating sailing performance.

Designed for owners who value sailing with family and friends, the Baltic 80 Café Racer combines competitive potential on the racecourse with relaxed, social sailing. Pared-back luxury, intuitive systems and generous living spaces make her ideal for cruising between favourite anchorages. Fast to set up, fun to sail and easy to manage with a small crew, she lets owners focus on what matters most: time on the water.

The open, loft-style interior offers comfort and luxury through bold styling, making her equally suited to coastal cruising and memorable weekends away. Whether anchoring in a quiet bay or cruising between favourite destinations, she provides a complete and comfortable home on the water.

Naval architecture for the Baltic 80 Café Racer is by Surge Projects, led by Javier Jaudenes, while Design Unlimited is responsible for the interior styling. The yacht will measure under 24 metres, allowing owners to enjoy weekend sailing without unnecessary complexity.

Construction of the first yacht is scheduled to begin in April 2026, with delivery planned for June 2027 and sailing through the summer of 2027. The Baltic 80 Café Racer is conceived as a series build, reflecting growing demand for this distinctive concept.

The Café Racer name draws inspiration from 1960s London, where pared-down, visually minimalist motorbikes were built for speed, attitude and rebellion. That same spirit defines the Baltic 80 Café Racer: confident, focused and unapologetically different.
