Aquila 45 Sport: World debut at Palm Beach International Boat Show 2026

Aquila 45 Sport makes its world debut at Palm Beach, featuring twin 600HP engines and innovative fold-out social terraces.

The all-new Aquila 45 Sport is set to make its official world debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, running from March 25 to 29, 2026. Although the initial plan scheduled its unveiling for February at the Miami International Boat Show, the vessel was unable to attend due to transport delays caused by adverse weather conditions. Consequently, the model’s first public appearance has been rescheduled for March at the MarineMax display.

Design Philosophy and Construction

Architecturally, the vessel is a collaboration with Florida-based Yacht Design Works, featuring a contemporary aesthetic with sharp lines inspired by luxury SUVs. The hull utilizes advanced double-stepped technology, designed to reduce friction and enhance overall performance. Construction involves vinylester resin infusion throughout all structural components, providing superior moisture protection and ensuring that no wood is used in the structural makeup or below the waterline.

Layout and accommodation

The Aquila 45 Sport measures 14.17 meters (46′ 6″) in length with a standard beam of 4.57 meters (15′ 0″). A defining feature of the aft cockpit is the inclusion of fold-down terraces; when deployed, these expand the total beam to 5.88 meters (19′ 4″), significantly increasing the social and entertainment space. Below deck, the interior features a cabin with a king-size memory foam bed and a private head with an electric flush toilet. The helm station is designed with four seats and offers centralized control via flush-mount digital displays.

Performance and technical specifications

On the technical side, the vessel is powered by twin Mercury Verado V12 outboard engines, delivering a combined 1,200 HP. This configuration allows for top speeds exceeding 50 mph, with an efficient cruising range between 38 and 40 mph. To support its range and autonomy, the boat is equipped with a 1,514-liter (400 gal) fuel tank, a 189-liter (50 gal) water tank, and an 80-liter (21 gal) holding tank.

Technology and connectivity

In terms of technology, the Aquila 45 Sport features first-in-class digital integration. Operators can monitor and manage lighting, Raymarine navigation, C-Zone systems, and the Fusion audio installation directly from mobile devices.

Finally, the vessel carries CE certifications for categories B10, C20 , and D29, making it suitable for a wide range of maritime conditions and uses.
