A rare presence on the charter market

REGINA D’ITALIA, the yacht of Stefano Gabbana, is now for charter with Ocean Independence.

Following her debut to the international market at the Monaco Yacht Show, where REGINA D’ITALIA was first presented for sale by Ocean Independence, the iconic Codecasa-built superyacht now opens an exciting new chapter: she is available for charter for the very first time.

Toby Maclaurin, Chief Commercial Officer of Ocean Independence, comments: “We are absolutely delighted to announce our appointment as Central Agent for both the sale and charter of REGINA D’ITALIA, bringing this remarkable yacht to discerning charter clients in Italy. Her arrival represents a rare and refined new presence on the Mediterranean charter market.“

A private world of timeless elegance

REGINA D’ITALIA is not simply chartered — she is discovered. Panoramic sea views, refined materials, and a strong architectural language define interiors that are both expressive and composed. Conceived as a calm yet confident sanctuary at sea, she offers an atmosphere of understated elegance, where timeless design meets quiet sophistication. For guests seeking something truly distinctive, REGINA D’ITALIA sets a new benchmark for authentic luxury on the water. Throughout the season, she will explore the stunning Italian coastline and islands, offering an intimate perspective on Italy’s most beautiful cruising grounds.

Built on the acclaimed and proven Codecasa 65m platform, REGINA D’ITALIA is a one-of-a-kind expression of refined Italian design and luxurious minimalism. Now listed for sale with Ocean Independence, this remarkable yacht, owned by Stefano Gabbana, is a private world revealed only now after years of confidential development and meticulous craftsmanship. Though based on a proven platform, REGINA D’ITALIA is entirely unique—defined by bold design layers, sleek contours, and a contemporary yet timeless interior. Conceived in partnership with design studio M2 Atelier and Gabbana himself, the yacht is a showcase of artistic ambition and sensory indulgence.

A yacht of italian artistry and elegance

The yacht’s palette is a dramatic interplay of deep blue tones and warm teak, culminating in a sophisticated underworld-inspired interior. Brazilian marble, often reserved for high-end jewelry, has been lavishly applied throughout. The marble’s rarity and elegance are matched by a gradient of blue accents that intensify as you ascend through the decks—lightest on the lower deck, and deep, immersive blues above. The main salon is expansive and luminous, with mirrored ceilings and blue silk panels enhancing the ambiance. A flexible lighting system with telescopic spotlights allows for tailored atmospheres. The layout includes two side sofas and a central U-shaped arrangement. The dining area is anchored by a Fornasetti dining table surrounded by throne-style chairs, with all furniture ingeniously doubling as storage for crystal and tableware. The flooring—light oak with dark ebony joints—adds a dramatic visual rhythm.

The owner’s suite, occupying the forward main deck, spans the full beam with floor-to-ceiling windows for uninterrupted views and four portholes to invite the sea breeze. The mirrored ceilings expand the sense of space, while two separate bathrooms with Brazilian marble finishes and a bed larger than standard king size define the suite’s opulence. The suite also features two generous walk-in wardrobes, lined in silk, astrakhan, and velvet.
Perhaps the most playful and distinctive design element is the series of iconic Italian hand gestures, reinterpreted as bronze taps in the bathrooms and sculptural features along the staircase. Each guest cabin showcases a unique gesture, and the concept even inspired the creation of a bespoke book on Italian hand symbolism.

VIP comfort and wellness at sea

The VIP area consists of four symmetrical cabins: two twin rooms forward and two aft double cabins with queen-size beds. Each has a private bathroom with light-blue marble, mirrored ceilings, and custom tech integrations, including TVs and sound systems synced with iPhones. A sixth cabin is located just behind the captain’s cabin on the bridge deck, with dual access from both the guest area and the crew quarters. It is equipped with a bathroom and shower, a Pullman bed, and a large window overlooking the deck. This versatile space is ideal as a staff or bodyguard cabin or can be easily adapted into a massage room.

The gym on the upper deck is a masterstroke of design and utility, featuring full-glass sliding doors, mirrored walls, and a central blue dome to create vertical volume—perfect for TRX, jump rope, and resistance training. It’s equipped with free weights, an elliptical, and connects to a stylish marble bathroom with a shower.
A 7-metre infinity pool with hydromassage jets and lined with Brazilian marble mosaic dominates the upper deck which is connected to all decks via the yacht’s elevator. An automated refill system and a dedicated water tank optimize resource use. Eight teak sun loungers with blue Sunbrella cushions surround the pool, while ambient lighting transforms the area at night into an elegant open-air lounge.

To the aft, a fixed platform and a two-part extendable beach club create a versatile space for relaxation or water access. A retractable stainless steel shower adds convenience, and the fully finished garage can double as tender storage or a stylish waterside retreat. The area also includes a bathroom, laundry zone with professional-grade washers/dryers, and expansive storage space.
