The Yacht Club of Greece in collaboration with Atalanta Marine are proud to announce the 1st Beneteau FIRST Cup to take place in Greece. The 1st Beneteau FIRST Cup is part of the legendary Hydra Sailing Race that is being organized by the Yacht Club of Greece.
More than 20 Beneteau FIRST boats – including representative models of the new FIRST 36, FIRST 44 and FIRST 53 – will participate in this one-of-a-kind, worldwide established race, that will be held from the 1st time in our country from the 26th to the 28th of October.
The event is of great significance as it marks the celebration of the 140 Years since the founding of the Beneteau Shipyard, the oldest and one of the most established shipyards in the world. In view of this great incident, famous yacht designer Lorenzo Argento will participate in the race with his Beneteau FIRST 36 ISERA , while Andraz Mihelin – Chief Executive Officer of Seascape and Geoffrey Delabarre – Beneteau Sales Manager, will also attend.
The race will be a great celebration for all participants, while festivities will be held on the island as well to honor the occasion.
Atalanta Marine, being devoted to offer the outmost in sailing and the yachting industry, joins forces with the venerable Yacht Club of Greece, the most historical club in the Eastern Mediterranean, to create a remarkable sailing experience for Beneteau FIRST.
