“Hyperlien Yacht” launches its product again. After releasing their 28’ yacht “Modern Vintage” that was commented as “Tardis Yacht” by British Newspaper Daily mail, they have unveiled a new product type that takes yacht design to a new level.
46’ yacht, labelled as Modern Classic Gran Torino, which is inspired by vintage sports cars, uses the concept of the batmobile of “Batman Begins”, that driver can lift or sink the furniture by changing angle of body.
“Modern Classic Gran Torino” has rough but also elegant hull lines, and the large area of wood veneer on the ship-side shows its classic and retro image. The appearance is characterized by the traditional sports car series in the 1970s, which combines classic and modern without any conflict.
“Inherited the Hyperlien gene, as so-called “Tardis” or “earliest Mini”, small on the outside but much larger on the inside, the interior is surprisingly spacious and can be competed with 52 feet yacht though it’s actually a 46 feet one”, added Janus Huang, the director of Hyperlien Yacht.
Those who watched movie “Batman Begins” (2005) and “The Dark Knight” (2008) must be impressive by the batmobile, which only can be driven in prone position when it attacks or jumps. The flybridge of “Modern Classic Gran Torino” uses the similar design idea. When the driver lifts the steering wheel up, the sofa, table and liquor cabinet will rise up slowly from the floor. When the users would like to take a sunbath or enjoy the scenery on the flybridge, they just need to press the steering wheel down, all the furniture will sink. This new design concept not only enables user to use the space whatever he likes, but also protect all the hardware from the sun and rain.
For those who don’t need so much space, Hyperlien also offer another optional equipment – electric sun awning to choose. It remains closed to protect all equipment on flybridge. User can open the sun awning when it’s sunny and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Besides, it has spacious sun deck, open windows and large areas of the salon for enjoying the sunlight; the kitchen at the poop may be small, but complete in every detail, which makes sea life inviting and relaxing like home.
The ex-factory price of “Modern Classic Gran Torino” with standard equipment starts from 850,000 USD. It won runner-up of 2015 Italian A’ Design Award.
