Quorning Boats is celebrating 50 Years of Dragonfly – same family, same yard, same concept, and same vision as 50 years ago.
Quorning Boats was founded in 1967 by the current sole owner, Jens Quornings father, Børge Quorning – together with his younger brother Bent – with the aim to build safe high-end quality trimarans with outstanding performance, setting new standards in trimaran sailing. Quorning Boats is still located in the same place, where it all began in the late 1960’s – in the little village Skærbæk in Jutland, Denmark. Since then, the company has expanded its factory several times and bought adjacent buildings – adding storage space and production capacity. By the summer of 2016, Quorning Boats has built 1,100 boats over a period of 50 years, hereof 785 trimarans. Our dedicated and high-skilled staff sets high standards for modern boat building today. Each boat is built on demand with individual desires to meet the dream of each owner.
Today’s range counts the Dragonfly 35 Swing Wing, a Luxurious Ocean Cruiser, the Dragonfly 32 Swing Wing, our Performance Cruiser, the Dragonfly 28 Swing Wing, the Family Cruiser & Racer, and finally the Dragonfly 25 Swing Wing, the Weekend Cruiser & Racer – the newcomer from 2015.
