Frauscher launches the 747 Mirage Air. The new model delights customers with lots of space, perfect fit and finish and a very flexible layout which changes from a sunny island to a shaded seating area in seconds.

Combined with the stepped hull design which promises exhilarating driving capabilities and extremely high cornering speeds. The Frauscher 747 Mirage Air is an all-purpose daycruiser regardless if you want a quiet picknick in the bay or a thrilling drive through the waves. 

With the 747 Mirage Air Frauscher is extending its range to another center console variation. Continuing the tradition of the Frauscher 686 Lido and 1017 Lido Frauscher releases the center console version of the 747 Mirage. Conceived by long-term Frauscher head of research & development Thomas Gerzer. 

mirageair1The Frauscher 747 Mirage Air s based on the same hull design by hydrodynamic expert Harry Miesbauer. It features many of the design features of the closed bow sister which was designed by KISKA design.

The Frauscher 747 Mirage Air augments the supercar inspired design and driving capabilities for customers who need more space for friends and family.

The Frauscher 747 Mirage Air expands on the practical features found on the closed bow variant: starting from the generous bathing platform at the stern guests can reach the main cockpit area through a pathway without walking over the cushions. The main area features a custom designed center console with two bucket seats for the driver and co-driver while guests can sit on the bench behind them. The sunbed in the back can be enlarged further by flipping down the main backrest. In the bow area the Frauscher 747 Mirage Air features two big cushions with backrests for sunbathing or seating.

Optional equipment not only includes a lounge package which doubles as a bridge to both FRAUSCHER PRESS INFO 747 Mirage Air - open without compromise engineers of emotions cushions for an even bigger sunpad or can be used as a table between the two cushions.

Another highlight is the easyto- use bimini which hides in the bow area, can be fitted in seconds and also doubles as a sprayhood if customers need to drive through bad weather or safe a freshly done coiffure.

The characteristic air intakes are also found on the 747 Mirage which are built from real carbon fiber to underscore thebreathtaking driving capabilities of the 747 Mirage and 747 Mirage Air.

While the open bow concept gives a lot of freedom to move around and easily reach the bow for easier docking, it also provides a lot of storage: Under the pathway, beneath the seating areas in the front and the back as well as in the huge bow compartment and two storage areas on the sides the Frauscher 747 Mirage Air features ample space and with the optional fridge under the back seating area customers have access to cool drinks at all times.

Additionally, customers can select from a wide range of exterior and interior colors. The characteristic low nose design gives the driver a great front view regardless of speed. Available with three different Mercruiser petrol engines and a Volvo Penta Diesel option, ranging from 220 HP up to 430 HP, the 747 Mirage Air‘s performance matches its looks, putting the possible top speed at 56 knots. With a generous 240 liter fuel tank, customers also have enough range for longer trips as well. As withall Frauscher boats, the 747 Mirage Air is produced at the Frauscher shipyard in Ohlsdorf, Austria, which was newly opened in 2012.

The boating world will experience the 747 Mirage Air at the official world premiere at the 2015 Austrian Boat Show in Tulln. First customer deliveries are scheduled for Summer 2015.
