The French ocean racing veteran Francis Joyon won the 40th anniversary Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe solo transatlantic race from Saint Malo to Pointe-À-Pitre.

For day three of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup and Rolex Maxi 72 World Championship, it was the turn of the Wally class to sail windward-leewards, while the rest of the maxi yacht classes were sent on an anti-clockwise lap of the La Maddalena archipelago.

The CATAMARANS CUP International Regatta, a unique race of sailing catamarans, came to a successful close after one week of racing. This year, 24 catamarans signed up to compete welcoming more than200 sailors from a total of 18 countries.

About twenty Perini Navi yachts are on their way to Porto Cervo for the seventh Perini Navi Cup, the world famous regatta reserved exclusively for yachts built by Perini. Organized in collaboration with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, the event will be held in Porto Cervo, from September 19 to 22.
